- KaHulaHou 2013
KaHulaHou, an innovative hula competition which premiered in 2008, is returning for a third round of no-holds-barred hula. In this event, entertainment and showmanship are the focus, and winning teams are selected by the audience. Only two rules are enforced upon the competitors: "Keep it Hawaiian," and "Keep it Entertaining."
The Wahine Take Center Stage!
In the past, KaHulaHou has celebrated the kane dancer. This year, the wahine enter the arena for the first time! Prepare to be captivated by the combined strength and grace of women's hula. Watch as four teams of dancers challenge one another in true tournament style, displaying their technique and power while keeping you on the edge of your seat!
Your vote WILL count!
Get ready to make your voice heard! Unlike other hula competitions, KaHulaHou does not keep a panel of official judges. You, the audience, will select the winners. Cheer for your favorite team as they put their pride on the line to win YOUR vote!
